Everywhere Apparel Case Study: Content Marketing Strategy

Social Media Strategy, Content Development & Digital Marketing Infrastructure

A Partnership with ACV Consulting  |  2021

Published: October 12, 2026.

This Everywhere Apparel case study explores how ACV Consulting developed a content marketing strategy to align B2B and B2C messaging, establish consistent social media content, and build a measurable multi-channel marketing infrastructure.

The Challenge

Everywhere Apparel had completed its Brand DNA, visual identity, and website - the foundational brand work that gave the team a documented framework to build from. The next question was how to take that foundation live across the channels where the brand's two very different audiences actually lived.

The challenge was structural. Everywhere's B2B audience - wholesale buyers and brand partners evaluating sustainable materials supply - lived primarily on LinkedIn, evaluated the brand through a professional lens, and needed communications that demonstrated supply chain credibility, certification rigor, and manufacturing capability. The B2C audience - conscious consumers looking for sustainable everyday basics - lived on Instagram, responded to visual storytelling and purpose-driven narrative, and made decisions based on brand authenticity and emotional resonance.

Building a social media and digital marketing infrastructure that could serve both audiences well - without letting either channel drift from the brand's documented DNA - required more than a posting calendar. It required a deliberate architecture: which platforms served which audience and how, what content types worked for each channel, how influencers fit into the strategy for both B2B credibility and B2C awareness, how the CRM and email program supported the customer relationship over time, and how paid digital channels drove traffic to a brand new website with no established search equity. Everywhere needed a content marketing strategy that could translate its established brand identity into consistent messaging and actionable content for both audiences.

The brand also needed something practical: templates and first posts that could be executed immediately, without requiring the team to reconstruct the brand's voice from scratch every time a piece of content needed to be created. A strategy without execution infrastructure is an aspiration. The goal was to leave the team with a system.

The brand foundation work tells you who you are. The social media infrastructure work answers the harder question: how do you show up, consistently, across every channel, for two different audiences, every single week?

The Solution: Developing a Content Marketing Strategy

Discovery & Channel Strategy

ACV began with a focused discovery session with the Everywhere team, using it to establish clear goals across every channel in the brand's planned stack - Instagram, LinkedIn, email, and short form video - and to define the role of influencers in both the B2B and B2C tracks. The session also established the tools, the content calendar timeframe, and the cadence that would govern the ongoing program.

B2B & B2C Social Media Development

The social media plan that followed was organized around the brand's dual-audience reality from the start. Instagram was built around brand storytelling and influencer content for the B2C consumer audience, with content categories, visual standards anchored to the brand guidelines, and a cadence designed to build brand presence progressively. LinkedIn was structured specifically for the B2B professional audience - covering both branded brand content and an influencer strategy suited to the professional network context, where credibility and expertise matter more than visual impact. The content strategy for each platform reflected a distinct voice that nonetheless drew from the same documented Brand DNA, so the brand felt coherent across channels even as the tone and visual register shifted to fit the audience. This content marketing strategy connected Everywhere's established Brand DNA with platform-specific storytelling and a consistent approach to audience engagement.

Email Marketing & CRM Integration

Email and CRM, managed through HubSpot, were integrated into the plan as the relationship layer that supported both audiences over time - giving the brand a direct channel to existing contacts and customers that operated independently of algorithm-driven platform reach. Short form video was built into the template library from the start, reflecting the direction content consumption was already moving.

Content Calendar & Production-Ready Templates

Every platform in the plan was supported by production-ready content templates: usable first posts for each channel and content type, built to reflect the brand's visual identity and documented voice, with content direction provided by the Everywhere team and developed into executable assets by ACV. The objective was to give the team a real starting point for each content category - not a blank page with a strategy document to interpret, but a post they could publish.

Templates are not shortcuts. For an early-stage brand with a small team and a complex dual-audience challenge, they are the mechanism that makes brand consistency achievable without requiring a dedicated creative resource for every post.

Digital Marketing Infrastructure & Performance Measurement

Phase Three of the revised engagement moved from plan and templates into measurement and launch support. ACV built out the full multi-platform marketing stack - defining the specific purpose and cadence for Google AdWords, LinkedIn, Spotify, and HubSpot - and put in place a KPI framework to track performance from the day the plan launched. ACV implemented a month of A/B testing at the outset to establish baseline data and begin refining the approach to driving traffic to the newly launched site. Google AdWords was expanded and reconfigured to increase paid search visibility for a brand with no organic search history. ACV also connected the brand with relevant industry contacts and partnership opportunities during the initial launch phase, using the ACV network to accelerate the brand's visibility in relevant circles.

Implementation & Outcomes

The engagement delivered Everywhere Apparel's complete social media and digital marketing infrastructure - a live, multi-channel system built on the brand's documented DNA and designed to serve two distinct audiences without splitting the brand's identity.

Key outputs delivered:

  • A comprehensive social media plan covering Instagram (brand and influencer), LinkedIn (brand and influencer), email/HubSpot CRM, and short form video - with distinct content strategies, cadences, and voice standards for each platform calibrated to either the B2C consumer or B2B professional audience.

  • A full content calendar defining post frequency, content category rotation, and seasonal considerations across all active channels - giving the team a structured operating framework rather than an ad hoc posting approach.

  • A production-ready template library covering every platform and content type: Instagram brand posts, Instagram influencer posts, LinkedIn brand posts, LinkedIn influencer posts, email templates for HubSpot, a digital content set for multi-platform use, and a short form video post - each built to the brand's visual identity and voice standards.

  • A multi-platform marketing stack definition covering Google AdWords, LinkedIn, Spotify, and HubSpot, with clear guidance on the role, cadence, and measurement approach for each.

  • A KPI framework and one month of A/B testing to establish baseline performance data across paid and organic channels, with an expanded Google AdWords program to drive traffic to the newly launched website.

  • Industry network introductions and partnership connections through the ACV network to support the brand's visibility during its initial launch phase.

Key Insight

The mistake most early-stage brands make is treating social media as a channel and content strategy as a separate project. They are not separate. Content strategy is an extension of brand strategy, and the channels are just the delivery mechanism. When the brand foundation is clear, the content strategy is not that hard to build. When the brand foundation is unclear, every piece of content becomes a small identity crisis.

The sequencing of the Everywhere engagement - Brand DNA and guidelines first, social media architecture second - was deliberate. By the time ACV was building the content calendar and templates, the brand's voice, visual identity, purpose, and personality were documented. That meant every template, every platform strategy, and every influencer brief could be anchored to the same foundation rather than invented from scratch. The templates were fast to build because the brand was already clearly defined.

The dual-audience challenge - B2B on LinkedIn, B2C on Instagram - is one that trips up a lot of consumer brands that also have wholesale or partner channels. The temptation is to treat them as separate brands with separate identities. The right approach is a single brand with a flexible expression: the same DNA, the same values, the same promise - communicated through different voices and in different registers depending on who is listening.

B2B buyers are people too. They respond to authenticity, clarity, and a brand that knows what it stands for. The LinkedIn content for a mission-driven sustainable brand does not need to be cold and corporate. It needs to be the same brand - speaking to a different need.

The KPI framework and A/B testing infrastructure put in place in the final phase of the engagement ensured that the social media system was not just launched but measurable. A content strategy without measurement is a cost center. With measurement, it becomes a learning system - and the data it produces gets more valuable over time as the brand accumulates a real picture of what content, what messages, and what channels are actually driving the outcomes that matter.

That is what we built for Everywhere. And it is the kind of infrastructure that a small team can maintain, iterate on, and grow from - without needing to rebuild it from the ground up every time the business changes.
